These common handset issues can often be fixed by a reset.

  • Busy Lamp Field (BLFs), Shared Call Lines and Speed Dials not showing on the display of the handset or sidecar.
  • Function keys not working as intended or not showing.
  • Unable to transfer calls.
  • In general, if the handset is doing anything out of normal a reset can be done as the first step in troubleshooting.

How to reset your handset

The Polycom handset can be reset by pressing 1-3-0 on the keypad simultaneously until phone makes a quick noise and the screen say 'Reboot Initiated.

The reboot process can take several minutes, if there is a receptionist sidecar attached, even longer.
