Overview

Legacy Rogers Business email and domain services will be shut down beginning in September, 2025. To avoid losing emails and data, customers must switch to a new provider, back up their data, and notify contacts.

Legacy Business mail and Hosted Domains/Subdomain Decommission

Rogers Business legacy email services and hosted domains/subdomains will no longer be supported by Rogers and are being decommissioned beginning in September, 2025. Please be advised that as we discontinue legacy email services, your email account and / or hosted domains/subdomains will be disabled and any data linked to them will be permanently deleted.

PLEASE NOTE This does not include rogers.com or shaw.ca email addresses. You can continue to use existing rogers.com and shaw.ca email addresses. However, you cannot create a new rogers.com or shaw.ca email address. You will need to set up a new account with a different provider.

For email services, to ensure uninterrupted communication, use a new or different email account/address with another provider. If you do not have a different email account/address with another provider, you will need to set up a new email account/address with different provider.

We recommend the following steps to facilitate a smooth transition:

  1. Set up your new email account and address with your chosen provider.
  2. Notify any services or individuals who communicate with you and request that they update your contact information with your new email address. Enable an auto-reply message on your Rogers Business Email account/s to reinforce notification of your new email address. For example: "Please note that this email address has changed. Please use [your new email address]."
  3. Save any data stored in your Rogers Business Email or forward it to your new email address.

If you require support and were previously a Shaw customer, please contact Rogers Business at 1-877-742-9249. Otherwise, please call 1-866-727-2141.

For domains/subdomains, you will need to contact a new provider and have them assist you in moving your domain/subdomain data. Rogers Business support will not be able to assist.

For email migration, you will need to contact a new provider and have them assist you in moving your email data. Rogers Business support will not be able to assist.
