How To: Reset SmartVoice portal passwords

This article tells you how to reset the group admin password and individual passwords your team uses to log in to the SmartVoice portal.

Resetting your SmartVoice password

  1. Go to smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  2. Log in using your group administrator credentials.
  3. Click the Dashboard tab.
  4. Scroll down to the user whose password you want to reset.
  5. Click the user’s name.
  6. Under Password, enter a new password in both fields.
  7. Alternately, you can click Generate to create a strong password.
  8. Click Save.

Resetting passwords for others

  1. Go to smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  2. Log in using your group administrator credentials.
  3. Click the Dashboard tab.
  4. Scroll down to the user whose password you want to reset.
  5. Click the user’s name.
  6. Under Password, enter a new password in both fields.
  7. Or, you can click Generate to create a strong password.
  8. Click Save.

Resetting the group admin password

If you know your group admin password and just want to change it, follow the steps below. If you have forgotten or misplaced your group admin password, contact your support team at business.shaw.ca/contact-us and they will reset the password for you.

  1. Go to smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  2. Click the Group Profile tab.
  3. Click the Site Info drop down menu and select Administrators.
  4. Enter a new password in both fields.
  5. Click Save.
