You can reset your SmartVoice password on your own using the phone number and email address associated with your SmartVoice service. If you don't have access to this information, contact your group administrator for assistance.

  1. Reset your SmartVoice user password by opening smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  2. Select Forgot password?.
  3. On the password reset page, enter the requested information:
    1. Current email address: The email address that you provided when your SmartVoice service was first set up
    2. User ID: yoursmartvoicenumber@shawbusiness.ca
    3. Enter the symbols from the image.
    4. Select Reset.
  4. An email will be sent to the email address that you entered with a link to reset the password.

The group administrator can reset other users' SmartVoice portal passwords on of two different ways within the portal

  1. Administrator logs in with his or her group administrator credentials to smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  2. Select the Dashboard tab.
  3. Scroll down to find the user profile you would like to manage.

Quick Method:

  1. Click on the user's Name field.

  2. In expanded view, use the Password section in the middle of the page to manage portal login (passcode is for the user's voicemail access).

  3. Enter a new password or select Generate, not both. Choosing the Generate option will create a random secure password.

  4. Press Save to complete.

Alternate method:

  1. Click on the Gear icon to the right of the user's name.
  2. Select View All Services.
  3. Once the user profile opens, select the Profile/911 Update tab.

  1. Scroll up or down to find and press Save.
    • Enter a new user password or select 'Generate', not both. Choosing the 'Generate' option will create a random secure password.
  2. Scroll up or down to find and press Save.

  • Open smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  • Select the Group Profile tab.
  • Select Site Info and choose Administrators.
  • Change your password or add a new group administrator here, then press Save.
  • If you want to verify general information about your company's group administrator, select Site Info and choose Location Info. If errors are found, contact Technical Support to request corrections.
