Lighting Sequence
The CODA-5810 has a single light near the bottom on the front of the modem to indicate the modem status. The light will be a solid white colour when the modem is up and running. Other lighting sequences the modem can encounter include:
- Green: Modem is booting
- Alternating red/green/blue/white: Modem is completing a software upgrade or downgrade
- Alternating white/green: Modem is establishing DOCSIS
How to restart your modem
If you need to reboot or reset the CODA-5810, follow these steps:
- To reboot the CODA-5810, press the power button and hold it for less than five seconds. The CODA-5810 restarts, using your existing settings.
- To reset the CODA-5810, press and hold factory reset button for ~10-15 seconds, then release. All user-configured settings are deleted, and the CODA-5810 restarts using its factory default settings.
