How To: Send SmartVoice voicemail to email

Overview

Instead of using your phone to listen to voicemail, you can have voicemail notifications and/or audio files sent to your email address.

Enable voicemail to email

  1. Go to smartvoice.shawbusiness.ca.
  2. Log in using your group administrator credentials.
  3. Click the Dashboard tab.
  4. Click the gear icon under Settings.
  5. Click Detailed Settings (lower right).
  6. Click Calling Features.
  7. Under Messaging, click the Edit button next to Voicemail Management.
  8. Under Voicemail Settings:
  9. Set Email notification with attachment to ON, to receive voicemail audio files.
  10. Enter an email address in the empty field(s).
  11. Click Save.

We recommend leaving yourself a voicemail message to test that emails are being delivered as expected.
